High School Diploma
Adults of all ages may take classes that meet the requirements for a high school diploma. Daytime and evening classes are held throughout the year. Courses meet state and district requirements. Students who complete all requirements receive a high school diploma in a formal graduation ceremony. New students are assessed for basic skills and advised on courses needed to achieve their educational goals. Students are placed in classes according to their assessment results and high school transcripts.
A high school diploma from Vallejo Adult School requires 180 credits. Typically, a student earns five credits by completing a 60-hour course. The diploma route might be better for you if you passed most of your classes in high school and have only a few credits remaining to make up.
