English as a Second Language
Improve your conversational English, grammar, reading, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary of the English language at the Vallejo Adult School's English as a Second Language (ESL) class. Learn to use English to get a job, advance at work, participate and communicate in the community.
Students are evaluated and placed in classes according to their speaking abilities and needs. These courses focus on developing speaking, reading, and writing English skills. Our courses include:
- Beginning Literacy
- Beginning Low
- Beginning High
- Intermediate Low
- Intermediate High
- Vocational ESL - Computers for English language learners
Registration is FREE! Registration is required every 10-week term to be enrolled in the class.
Class Schedule
Monday through Thursday mornings, 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Monday through Thursday evenings, 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Assessment Test Schedule for Registration
Monday through Thursday mornings, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Monday through Wednesday evenings, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
