Since 1928, the Vallejo Adult School at the Al Berenguer Educational Center has been a beacon for adult learners. We welcome adults (18+) to achieve their goals through various programs, including English as a second language, citizenship, high school diploma, high school equivalency, and career preparation classes.

Programs and Course Offerings
Vallejo Adult School offers a wide range of programs, including high school diploma and equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and personal development courses designed to support lifelong learning and career advancement. Our career courses cover union apprenticeship preparation, commercial culinary introduction, workplace technology, and healthcare training.
Our Adult Basic Education classes assist learners with strengthening basic skills before entering high school equivalency exam preparation (HiSET/GED) or high school diploma classes.
This course is for students who want to learn the English vocabulary and information necessary to prepare for the citizenship examination and process.
The Clinical Medical Assistant Program helps students acquire practical knowledge and specialized skill for clinical care and administrative tasks within a medical facility.
