Our Mission

The mission of Vallejo Adult School is to educate and prepare the adult learners of our diverse community to participate actively in family, community, workplace, and civic engagement. In an effort to promote and provide life-long learning, we offer a fee-free curriculum to assist adult learners in the development of basic skills, job preparation, personal enrichment, academic growth, and citizenship.

Programs and Course Offerings

Vallejo Adult School offers a wide range of programs, including high school diploma and equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and personal development courses designed to support lifelong learning and career advancement. Our career courses cover union apprenticeship preparation, commercial culinary introduction, workplace technology, and healthcare training.

Our Adult Basic Education classes assist learners with strengthening basic skills before entering high school equivalency exam preparation (HiSET/GED) or high school diploma classes.

This course is for students who want to learn the English vocabulary and information necessary to prepare for the citizenship examination and process.
